Lucy Anderson

Lucy Anderson lives and works in West Sussex. She studied Jewellery Design at Morley College, London where she won the ACJ College Prize in 2022. Her jewellery has been featured in Wallpaper*.com and on Instagram @mazziodu and @magnus.oculus. Previously, an Early Years teacher, Lucy approaches her designs playfully and mathematically. She has a keen sense of individual style and a love of Modern and Contemporary Art, which influences her work. This year, Lucy exhibited her work at FORGE, Hatton Garden as part of London Craft Week and received a major commission from Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery to design and make an earring installation for their current exhibition, ‘Peggy Guggenheim: Petersfield To Palazzo’, on display until October 2024.

Lucy Anderson’s jewellery embodies simplicity, precision and elegance. Her work is inspired by her love of fashion, art and design and each piece reflects her unique perspective and creative exploration. Designing and making, allows Lucy to express herself authentically and to translate her passions into tangible creations. The Circle Grid Collection brings together works that are both geometrical and playful in their simplicity. Lucy likes to find ways to exploit geometric shape and pattern and strives for clean lines. Circles and grids are a recurring theme. Lucy often looks to the work of artists such as Agnes Martin, Bridget Riley, Gego and Lygia Clark and has a love of stripes, polka dots and gingham. She hopes to bring the energy she feels when she sees something she
loves into her own creations.
