This November, the Goldsmiths’ Centre in Farringdon invites the public and design enthusiasts to explore pop-up events alongside its annual Shine exhibition. From socially conscious pieces by Pivot to sculptural silver and fine jewellery by talented designers from the Trove collective and Shine 2025, visitors can discover and buy meaningful, one-of-a-kind gifts in the run-up to Christmas. The events offer a unique opportunity to support independent makers, shop responsibly, and find extraordinary jewellery and silversmithing that is as innovative as it is beautiful.

Kick off the season with Made by Pivot: Jewellery Pop-Up on 11 November 2025 from 4pm until 8pm. Pivot, an award-winning social enterprise, empowers people experiencing homelessness to design, make, and sell jewellery. Visitors can browse and purchase responsibly made brass, recycled silver, and zero-waste acetate pieces, at affordable prices. Every purchase helps Pivot programme participants take meaningful steps toward independent living, making every gift not only beautiful but truly life-changing. Guests are welcomed with a complimentary drink as they enjoy the event, offering a warm and inspiring start to the Christmas run-up.
Later in the month, from 19 to 21 November, the Goldsmiths’ Centre will host TROVE: ‘Historia’, a captivating showcase of ten exceptional jewellers and silversmiths from the Goldsmiths’ Centre community. Inspired by the Latin word historia, meaning investigation and narrative, this pop-up explores identity, storytelling, and the history embedded in metalwork. Visitors will find sculptural silver and fine jewellery, each piece with a story to treasure - perfect for meaningful gifts in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

Running alongside these pop-ups is the Shine 2025 exhibition, the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s annual showcase of emerging UK talent in jewellery and silversmithing. On display until 19 December, Shine 2025 features collections by eleven emerging designers, who present cutting-edge work inspired by personal memory, identity, landscape, architecture, and even the galaxies. Makers Heather Blake, Edwin Charmain, Carol Cole, Junru Erin, Shirani Fernando, Wenyin Jiang, Misha McLean, Marina Skia, Niamh Wright, Beca Fflur, and Iona Hall bring their distinctive voices to the exhibition, offering visitors the chance to explore and shop one-of-a-kind pieces both in person and online at www.goldsmiths-shop-talent.org
As Charlotte Dew, Head of Public Programmes at the Goldsmiths’ Centre explains,
“When you shop with us, you’re not just buying something beautiful - you’re investing in the future of craftsmanship. Every purchase supports talented makers and individual to develop sustainable businesses and careers, helping the next generation of jewellers and silversmiths thrive.”
